Senior Angel Tree Program
Every year in September, we send out “wish list” forms to all clients in our database who are 65 years and older. The clients fill out the form with gift ideas, sizes/descriptions of the gifts they desire and return the form to our facility. We then generate “angels” containing the client name and wish list, place them on Christmas trees in businesses in our community, and county residents purchase the gifts. As they are dropped off at the businesses or at COP, we contact clients to either pick up the gift or we deliver to them if they are homebound.
Look for Christmas trees at local businesses in November and be a part of this wonderful outreach!
